KENOSHA, Wis. — A Spring Grove woman received a four-year prison term on charges in a Kenosha County hit-and-run accident that left one bicyclist dead and another injured.

Forty-one-year-old Barbara Lee pleaded guilty last month to a charge of hit-and-run involving a death. Three other charges were dismissed – negligent operation of a vehicle, hit and run causing injury, and operating after revocation – but read into the record at her sentencing Wednesday in Circuit Court.

Authorities said her vehicle hit and killed 44-year-old Gordon Kleifield of Chicago as he was bicycling in Wilmot Aug. 16. Forty-six-year-old Daniel Dugan of McHenry, who was biking with Kleifield, received minor injuries.

Lee also was ordered to serve 10 years extended supervision after the prison term.
