Harvard Savings Bank is preparing for its third annual Free Community Shred Day.

The Shred Day will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 30, at the bank’s main office, 58 N. Ayer St.
Community members are encouraged to bring boxes of papers to be shredded in a large on-site destruction truck right before their eyes.

Although this event is free, community members are asked to bring a nonperishable food item to be donated to the Harvard Food Pantry.

For information on the Shred Day, call Cindy Rowe at Harvard Savings Bank at 815-943-5261.
