The Alzheimer’s Association – Greater Illinois Chapter has partnered with a number of McHenry County businesses to launch the Forget Me Not Point of Purchase Program.

Throughout May, customers can add $1 to their bill to purchase a forget-me-not pin-up that can be personalized and displayed at the participating business to help raise money and create awareness for Alzheimer's disease.

According to the Alzheimer's Association, 5.3 million Americans are battling Alzheimer's, with 210,000 people in Illinois suffering from the disease.

Local businesses participating in the program include: Culvers of Crystal Lake, Culvers of Huntley, Culvers of Woodstock, Culvers of McHenry, Conscious Cup Coffee in Crystal Lake, and the Barn Nursery & Landscape Center in Cary.
