Sandell appointed to trustee spot

Bill Sandell is back on the Johnsburg Village Board.

Sandell didn't have enough votes to be re-elected to one of the three vacant trustee spots open in the April 7 election. But Johnsburg President Ed Hettermann had two years left on his term, and when he became president a trustee spot opened up.

Sandell was appointed to fill that spot at this week's village board meeting. Now the board is nearly identical to the pre-election board, with the exception of the late president and Ron Zanko.
