Chamber seeking food pantry donations

The Richmond-Spring Grove Chamber of Commerce is seeking donations for the Community Food Pantry of Richmond-Spring Grove.

Food, cleaning and school supplies and personal hygiene products and preferred, and food must be non-perishable. Donations can be dropped off between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the chamber offices, 10906 Main St., in Richmond. Donors are asked to call 815-678-7742 before stopping by the chamber to be sure somebody is manning the office.

The Community Food Pantry services about 100 area families, according to the chamber.
