District 26 to from Special Education Parent Advisory Council

Cary District 26 is putting together an advisory group of parents and staff to help improve special education services.

The Special Education Parent Advisory Council is to have an organizational meeting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 28 in room F60 at Cary Junior High, 2109 Crystal Lake Road, in Cary.

Officials are seeking input from parents to help better the services and supports offered to students with special needs, according to a press release from the district.

Topics to be discussed are home-school communication, answering common questions, and options for providing training to parents seeking more information.
