There will be more to the July 4 Huntley Farmers Market than simply fruits and vegetables.

From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., organizers will also host an "All-American Family Fun Day," to include a crafts fair, library book sale, face painting, games and other entertainment. The event will be located along Coral Street at the town square and in the old village hall.

During 10 a.m. to noon, families can decorate their bikes, strollers, children and dogs in preparation for an "Around the Block" parade at 12:15 p.m. Westlake Community Church is sponsoring this free event.

At 11 a.m., the Sun City Sun Tones will host a sing-along. At 12:30 p.m., Peter Guerin will perform the best of the oldies, including Elvis, Frank Sinatra and American Bandstand.

Fireworks at dusk at the Huntley Prime Outlets will wrap up the day's activities.
