Centegra campus offers outdoor pool, lazy river
Earlier this month, Centegra Health System opened its outdoor pool area at its Huntley campus.
The outdoor swimming pool, located at the Centegra Health Bridge Fitness Center at 10450 Algonquin Road, features a slide, lazy river, and lap lanes. It is also one of the first in the Chicagoland area to include federally mandated pool and spa safety drains, according to a news release.
Adult water aerobic classes are conducted from 8 to 9 a.m. Mondays through Fridays and from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Saturdays. Lap swim is available for adults until 11 a.m. All other pool pass holders can enjoy open swim from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Sundays.
Those who are not members of the fitness center can enjoy the outdoor pool from 2 to 4 p.m. July 18 for the building's grand-opening celebration. The community can also tour the full campus from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. that day.
