The Huntley Area Public Library has now added Playaway – a self-playing digital audiobook – to its existing audio book collection.

Each Playaway device is similar to an MP3 player and can hold up to 80 hours of content. Listeners can move back and forth within or between chapters and alter the speed of a narrator’s voice. An automatic bookmark feature also remembers where readers left off.

Playaway units each weigh two ounces and are equipped with a universal headphone jack. The library carries titles for all ages and book tastes.

For more information about Playaway, visit the audiobooks area in the library or the online catalog at www.huntleylibrary.org and type “Playaway” in the search box.

The Huntley Area Public Library is located at 11000 Ruth Road in Huntley.
