Special-needs kids invited to carnival

Children with special needs and their immediate family members can get in free to Thursday's Algonquin Founders' Day Carnival.
The carnival will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. in Algonquin Town Park, near the intersection of Routes 62 and 31. The event is co-sponsored by the Lake in the Hills American Legion Post 1231.
