Check, Please! Filming at Port Ed's

The popular WTTW Chicago-area dining show will feature Algonquin's Port Edward restaurant in an upcoming episode.

Known for giving everyday Chicago-area residents a forum to discuss their favorite restaurants, Check, Please! will be shooting at the restaurant Friday and interviewing owner Edward Wolowiec. Diners on that day may see themselves on PBS, as the producers plan to film all of the dining areas.

The reviewers have all made their way to Algonquin to sample Port Edward's menu and take in the nautical theme. They will then discuss their own takes of the restaurant on the show. The date the episode will air is not yet known.
