McHENRY - Two McHenry High School students recently were honored at the Amateur Athletic Union Junior Olympics in Des Moines.
Ryan Bohn, a McHenry East senior, and Maegan Bohac, a McHenry West senior, each won the Tumbling and Trampoline Joel Ferrell award.
The award recognizes the athletic ability and sportsmanship of an athlete representing each official sport at the international games.
Ferrell was a former aerospace engineer who made numerous contributions to AAU.
