The Bears announced their final cuts Saturday to trim their roster from 75 players to 53 players.

The cuts did not include too many surprises, although some thought that receiver Brandon Rideau would stay because he had a good preseason and offered a 6-foot-3 target for Jay Cutler. The Bears also released Brett Basanez, joining the New York Giants and Washington Redskins as teams that kept two quarterbacks instead of the traditional three.

Here is a look at a full list of the Bears' transactions on Saturday:

Released (19):
OFFENSE: G Johan Asiata, T Cody Balogh, QB Brett Basanez, G Dan Buenning, FB Jason Davis, WR Eric Peterman, C Donovan Raiola, WR Brandon Rideau, FB Will Ta'ufo'ou

DEFENSE: DE Ervin Baldwin, CB Rudy Burgess, DE Joe Clermond, LB Marcus Freeman, CB Marcus Hamilton, CB Rod Hood, LB Kevin Malast, LB Darrell McClover, LB Mike Rivera, CB Woodny Turenne

Activated (1):

Placed on Injured Reserve (3):
