The Illinois Department of Transportation has granted $306,926 to Crystal Lake for road repairs.

The money comes from the agency's Emergency Repair Program and will be used for resurfacing and curb and gutter repair on Crystal Lake Avenue, Grant Street and Woodstock Street from Grant Street to Walkup Avenue.

“I’m pleased to announce the available funding for these crucial road improvement projects,” said State Sen. Dan Duffy, R-Lake Barrington. “Many of these projects are shovel-ready and will provide good paying jobs.”

IDOT's Emergency Repair Program funds engineering, construction and improvements for state and local roads.
