ALGONQUIN – Huntington Drive will be resurfaced from Stonegate Drive to Briarwood Lane starting Monday, Sept. 21.

The village will use funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act to complete the project.

Intermittent lane closures are expected as crews complete curb, sidewalk and storm sewer repairs in addition to roadway resurfacing.

Huntington Drive will continue to serve as a detour route for Hanson Road traffic during the resurfacing project. Major construction work is expected to be completed in late October, weather permitting.

The most current construction information is available on the Village Construction Projects page at www.algonquin.org. All other inquiries or concerns may be directed to the Public Works Department at 847-658-2754.
