Senior Fall Awareness and Fire Safety class planned

CRYSTAL LAKE – The Crystal Lake Fire Rescue Department will host a presentation on Senior Fall Awareness and Fire Safety on Sept. 23.

The free event will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Crystal Lake Municipal Complex, 100 W. Woodstock St., in Rooms P105-106.

The program is designed to teach older adults and caretakers ways to protect themselves and others from falls and fires through trivia.

Light refreshments will be served.

The class also will be held at 1 p.m. Oct. 14 and at 10 a.m. Nov. 12.
