Report: Bradley suspended

The Cubs have suspended outfielder Milton Bradley for the rest of the season, according to published reports.

Bradley, who signed a three-year, $30 million deal with the Cubs before the season, criticized his teammates, fans and media members in an interview earlier this week. When he was asked if he had enjoyed his time with the Cubs, Bradley responded, "Not really."

Bradley hit .257 with 12 home runs and 40 RBIs in 124 games with the Cubs. He was brought in to provide run production from the left side of the lineup, but he failed miserably.

The Cubs have not fared much better. They are 75-72 with 15 games to go in the regular season, and the Cardinals magic number is 4 to clinch the NL Central title.
