D-158 Foundation seeking funds

Text Size: AaAaAaAaAa

The District 158 Education Foundation is hosting a "no effort/non-marathon"-themed fundraiser that coincides with the upcoming Chicago Marathon.

The "race" is a request for donations to benefit District 158 students.

The Foundation helps fund educational programs that aren't normally funded by the school board. It also awards scholarships to graduating seniors each year.

During the past five years, the Foundation has given out more than $100,000 in grants for classroom projects and activities, and more than $65,000 in scholarships.

Any size donation is welcome to continue the group's progress.

Checks can be mailed to District 158 Foundation, PO Box 467, Huntley, IL, 60142. For more information, e-mail d158foundation@comcast.net.
