Jamar Williams will make his first start of the season at strong-side linebacker today.

Williams, 24, has started only once before in his 37 games with the Bears. He will become the sixth linebacker to start this season for the Bears, who have Hunter Hillenmeyer, Pisa Tinoisamoa and Brian Urlacher out because of injuries this week.

Hillenmeyer and Tinoisamoa were among eight Bears players who were declared inactive before Sunday's game. Hillenmeyer injured his ribs last week against Seattle, while TInoisamoa continues to recover from a knee injury that has sidelined him since the first quarter of Week 1.

Nick Roach, who replaced Tinoisamoa at strong-side linebacker for the past two weeks, will start at middle linebacker today. Williams will slide into Roach's previous spot on the strong side.

Meanwhile, tight end Desmond Clark will return today after missing two games because of a rib injury. Michael Gaines will return to the inactive list with Clark back on the field.

Here is a look at each team's inactive list.

Bears: Hunter Hillenmeyer, Pisa Tinoisamoa, Michael Gaines, Juaquin Iglesias, Devin Aromashodu, D.J. Moore, Lance Louis, Matt Toeaina

Lions: Dewayne White, Sammie Hill, Turk McBride, Daniel Loper, Jon Jansen, Kalvin Pearson, Derrick Williams, Drew Stanton
