WOODSTOCK – Woodstock Thunder Football and Cheer are donating about 750 pounds of food Friday to the Woodstock Food Pantry.

Tina Coalson, director of volunteers for the organization, said the group’s goal was to have all seven Woodstock Thunder Football teams and the cheerleading squad raise at least 80 pounds each. The food will be delivered between 4:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. Friday.

“We are a newly formed organization,” Coalson said. “This only is our second year and the city and community have been so supportive. This was our way of giving back to the community.”
