Marlowe celebrates Veterans Day

Marlowe Middle School will honor local veterans with a Veterans Day Recognition program on Nov. 11. All District 158 area veterans and spouses are invited.

At 9 a.m., breakfast will be served by students in the school cafeteria, 9625 Haligus Road, Lake in the Hills. The assembly begins at 10 a.m. and will include opening remarks by Principal Mike Moan, the Pledge of Allegiance, a performance of "The Star Spangled Banner," and an introduction and thank-you to veterans.

Interested residents should RSVP by Nov. 9 for the program by calling Marlowe Middle School at 847-659-4700.
