Grafton committees seeking members

Grafton Township is forming a Senior Citizens' Service Committee and a Disabled Citizens' Service Committee to advise the township board on various topics of importance to residents.

The Senior Citizens' Service Committee will cooperate with the Illinois Department on Aging whenever appropriate to develop and administer programs designed to maintain the self-sufficiency and personal well-being of citizens ages 55 and older residing within the jurisdiction of Grafton Township.

The Disabled Citizens' Service Committee is required to cooperate with any appropriate public or private entity to develop and administer programs designed to enhance the self-sufficiency and quality of life of disabled citizens residing within the township.

Both committees will report monthly to the township board on their activities.

Applications for committee members are available online at www.graftontownship.us, by fax or by mail.
