Harris in, Ogunleye out

Bears defensive tackle Tommie Harris returned to practice Wednesday after sitting out last weekend against the Bengals.

Harris wore full pads and was expected to take part in all of the drills for the first time in almost two weeks. Harris missed three practices last week, and Bears coach Lovie Smith opted to bench him in favor of defensive tackle Marcus Harrison against the Bengals.

Harris declined to comment before practice started. Bears coach Lovie Smith is expected to address the media later today, although odds are slim that Smith will tip his hand and reveal whether Harris is projected to start this weekend against the Cleveland Browns.

Although Harris returned, Bears defensive end Adewale Ogunleye sat out of practice Wednesday because of an ankle injury. Smith likely will provide more information on Ogunleye's injury status after practice.
