Boldin won't face Bears

The Bears caught a huge break when they learned that Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Anquan Boldin was ruled out for Sunday's game.

Boldin, who is among the best receivers in the NFL, did not practice this week because of an ankle injury. Boldin was listed as questionable on the Cardinals' injury report, but the team announced shortly before the game that he would not play.

Cardinals receiver Steve Breaston will start in Boldin's place. Bears cornerback Zackary Bowman is familiar with Breaston from the 2005 Alamo Bowl, when Bowman's Nebraska Cornhuskers beat Breaston's Michigan Wolverines.

Here is a complete list of the inactives for Sunday's game.

Bears: Juaquin Iglesias, Devin Aromashodu, D.J. Moore, Josh Bullocks, Pisa Tinoisamoa, Lance Louis, Matt Toeaina, Jarron Gilbert.

Cardinals: Anquan Boldin, Brian St. Pierre, Rashad Johnson, Gerald Hayes, Herman Johnson, Brandon Keith, Stephen Spach, Dominique Byrd.
