Pistons clamp down on 76ers
AUBURN HILLS, Mich. – Ben Gordon scored 23 points and Ben Wallace added 16 rebounds for the Detroit Pistons, who held the Philadelphia 76ers without a field goal the final six minutes for an 88-71 victory Sunday.
Wallace had seven of Detroit’s 21 offensive rebounds, and added three blocks and three steals. Charlie Villanueva added 16 points.
Andre Iguodala led Philadelphia with 24 points.
Thunder 102, Magic 74: At Oklahoma City, Kevin Durant scored 28 points, Russell Westbrook added 17 points and 10 assists, and Oklahoma City ran away from Orlando.
Lakers 104, Hornets 88: At Los Angeles, Kobe Bryant scored 28 points, Shannon Brown added 15, and Los Angeles thrived again without its top two big men, beating New Orleans.
Trail Blazers 116, Timberwolves 93: At Portland, Ore., Andre Miller scored 21 points, and LaMarcus Aldridge and Travis Outlaw each had 19 as Portland built a big first-half lead and beat Minnesota.
Kings 120, Warriors 107: At Sacramento, Calif., rookie Tyreke Evans scored 18 of his 23 points in the second quarter, and Sacramento beat Golden State to win back-to-back games for the first time in nearly a year.
Beno Udrih added 20 points and six assists for the Kings, who last won consecutive games on Nov. 7 and Nov. 9, 2008.
Stephen Jackson scored 21 points and Corey Maggette added 20 for the Warriors (1-4).
