Heat top Wizards
MIAMI (AP) – Dwyane Wade scored 41 points, and Miami defeated the Washington Wizards, 90-76, to remain in first place in the Southeast Division.
It’s the second time Wade scored at least 40 this season, both against Washington.
The Heat are 6-1 for the first time in a decade, matching the best seven-game start in franchise history.
Trail Blazers 93, Grizzlies 79: At Memphis, Tenn., Brandon Roy scored 20 points, LaMarcus Aldridge added 16 points and 12 rebounds, and Portland won its third consecutive game, against Memphis.
Magic 93, Bobcats 81: At Charlotte, N.C., Dwight Howard had 15 points and 10 rebounds, Vince Carter scored 15 points for Orlando in his return from a sprained ankle, and the Magic defeated Charlotte.
Mavericks 121, Rockets 103: At Dallas, Jason Terry scored 24 points, and Erick Dampier had 14 points and 20 rebounds for Dallas, which overcame an early 17-point deficit to defeat Houston.
Kings 101, Thunder 98: At Sacramento, Calif., Jason Thompson had 21 points and 14 rebounds to help Sacramento beat Oklahoma City, giving the Kings their first three-game winning streak in more than a year.
