McHENRY - The McHenry Area Historical Society host six McHenry mayors during its Jan. 9 meeting.
Former mayors Don Doherty, Joe Stanek, Bill Busse, Steve Cuda, and now state Sen. Pam Althoff, R-McHenry, joined current Mayor Sue Low on a panel moderated by Barb Gilpin, a former city clerk.
Each touched on the accomplishments of their administration, and together gave a comprehensive picture of the growth and development of McHenry from 1961 to the present.
