Creative writing night set in McCullom Lake

McCULLOM LAKE – A creative writing night has been scheduled at 7 p.m. April 21 at the McCullom Lake Village Hall, 4811 W. Orchard Drive.

Speakers will include Rich Boettcher, who is the village building inspector and a self-published author, and Dennis Durbin, a retired teacher and a police officer at McCullom Lake who also has written a book. In addition, Michael Stanard, a graphics designer of Studio@Zero One Charlie in Greenwood will address the audience.

Admission is free, and anyone interested in the topic of cre­a­tive writing is welcome to at­tend.
