CHICAGO (AP) — Authorities say bond has been set for two men charged with trying to sell cocaine to undercover investigators.
Bond was set at $500,000 for 55-year-old Juan Gonzalez of Cicero. He's been charged with one count of delivery of cocaine and one count of possession.
Fifty-two-year-old Julio Corral's bond was set for $20,000. He faces one count of possession with intent to deliver.
It was immediately unclear whether either man had an attorney.
Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart said authorities started investigating the men last month after receiving information on a drug-trafficking operation in Cicero.
Officers recovered cocaine with an estimated street value of $600,000.
