A Night Out for R.B. – A Party on Main Street is planned for Saturday at The Woodstock Public House, D.C. Cobbs, Odd Fellows and Pirro’s Restaurante, all on the Woodstock Square.

The bar crawl fundraiser will benefit R.B. McCallister, a local Realtor and pottery artist who became ill about three months ago with acute transverse myelitis, which is an inflammation of the spinal cord.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door – with each ticket buying a free house drink at each location.

Live music, food and drink specials are planned. The event coincides with R.B.'s 64th birthday on Nov. 8. A raffle will be held in the banquet room of Pirro’s with combination dinner/theater tickets as some of the auction items, including tickets to see Ed Asner at the Opera House.

McCallister’s 2004 Harley-Davidson also is being raffled, with 3,000 tickets being sold at $10 each and proceeds going to the R.B. Benefit Trust. The winner will be drawn Nov. 28 and tickets are available at Studio 2015 and at Harding Real Estate on Route 47.

For information, call Harding Real Estate at 815-338-3850.
