Cary Police charged a 17-year-old male with a felony in the stabbing of his 20-year-old brother Tuesday afternoon.
The incident happened at 446 Ann St. in Cary about 4 p.m. Authorities said the incident stemmed from an argument between the brothers that got out of hand.
The 17-year-old brother has been charged with one count of aggravated battery, a Class 3 felony, and one count of domestic battery, a Class A misdemeanor. The scene was cordoned off with crime scene tape.
Police declined to identify the brothers pending family notification.
A Flight For Life helicopter took the 20-year-old man to Advocate Condell Hospital in Libertyville.
His condition is unknown, but Police Chief Steven Casstevens, said the wounds were not life-threatening.
