To the Editor:
Congressman Joe Walsh makes it apparent by both his actions and rhetoric that the tea party really should be named the “me party.” He seems to think everyone will believe his selfish approach to government is good for his constituents or the country.
It is easy to stand on the outside, point the blame, and be cynical. Leadership requires responsibility, ownership and very often some tough negotiations. Of course, the good congressman does not want to be a prop in the political theater of the president. Walsh is too busy creating his own theater.
The declaration proclaimed; “Of the People, By the people, For the people.”
Enough with the drama. It’s time to do your job! Get to Washington and go to work!
