Compton Drive to be closed for work

ALGONQUIN – Compton Drive from Algonquin Road (Route 62) to Lake Plumleigh Way will be closed to traffic beginning Friday, weather permitting.

Final curb installation, street paving and street striping will be performed, with work expected to be complete by the end of October, according to a news release from the village.

Algonquin Lake subdivision will be accessible from Algonquin Road via High Point Ridge and Sandbloom Road.

This project is being completed and financed by the developer of the Glenloch of Algonquin development.
