Pets can be identified and redeemed 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturdays at McHenry County Animal Control, 100 N. Virginia St., Crystal Lake.
Animals must be claimed within seven business days. After that period, MCAC reserves the right to transfer the animal to a rescue group or make them available for public adoption.
