Johnsburg High School Theater to perform “Arsenic and Old Lace”

Johnsburg High School Theater will present “Arsenic and Old Lace” for five performances starting Nov. 10.

The theater program will be opening its season with the classic comedy farce about the two elderly Brewster sisters and their mission to give eternal happiness to as many elderly men as possible, or as many as they can fit in the cellar.  

The cast also includes seniors Sam Wagner, Stephen Vazquez and Frank Taormina; junior Jesse Reitz; sophomores Erin Rooney, Sophia Heiser and Nick Romero; and freshmen Jacquelyn Traughber and Erin Liston.  Sophomore Jenny Hanrahan is student director.  Molly Peters, Christina Fouke, Jamie Uthe, Kevin Duffy and Paul Hanrahan make up the production staff.

Shows will take place at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 10, 11 and 12, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov.13, in the Johnsburg High School Duane Andreas Auditorium, 2002 W. Ringwood Road  Johnsburg.

Reserve tickets are on sale at Johnsburg High School.  Prices are $8 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens. Tickets will also be available at the door.  Doors open 30 minutes before the performance.
