Autopsies planned for plane crash victims
WOODSTOCK (AP) – Autopsies are planned for four victims of a small plane crash over the weekend near Crystal Lake.
Friends and family have identified the pilot as Indiana businessman Ray Harris and the passengers as his daughters Ramie and Shey, all of Marion, Ind. The fourth victim was identified as Chris Backus of Eau Claire, Wis. He was a friend of one of the daughters.
Longtime friend and neighbor Aaron Vermillion said Harris was flying his daughter Ramie back to Wheaton College after the holiday.
