Text Size: AaAaAaAaAa

The Crystal Lake Park District Annual Skate and Ski Sale is a great place to sell used winter items and an even better place to pick up bargains for the whole family.

This year’s sale will be held from 8 to noon Saturday, Dec. 3, at Main Beach, 300 Lake Shore Drive, Crystal Lake.

Anyone who is interested in selling equipment should report to Main Beach from 5 to 7 p.m.  Thursday, Dec. 1, or Friday, Dec. 2.

Items must be clean and in safe condition. Ski poles need to taped together. The park district is unable to accept any articles of clothing.

The fee for selling items is 50 cents on items up to and including $5 and 25 percent on items marked more than $5.

Unsold items may be reclaimed from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3. After 2 p.m., unclaimed items are considered a donation to the Crystal Lake Park District.

For further information, call Connie Cooke at 815-459-0680, ext. 213.
