Water service disrupted for McHenry Shores

McHENRY – Water service for McHenry Shores Water Co., which is owned by T.P. Mathews, was out for most of Tuesday because of a leak.

About 160 customers, or a third of the water company's customers, were affected about by the water service disruption, Matthews said.

Mathews said his crews struggled to find the leak on Tuesday and stopped work for the night. He said water company employees would continue work to repair the leak at dawn Wednesday.
