Loss hurts Bears' chances

Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher was not in a good mood after Sunday's 13-10 overtime loss to the Denver Broncos.

Then again, nobody in the Bears' locker room was in a good mood. The Bears (7-6) coughed up a 10-0 lead late in the fourth quarter against the Broncos (8-5), who earned another comeback win in front of 76,487 fans at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.

"It's frustrating to be up 10-0 in the fourth quarter like that," said Urlacher, who led the team with 11 tackles. "No excuse to lose that football game. I felt like we made enough plays throughout the game. [We] just didn't make them when they counted."

The Bears' loss, combined with wins by the Atlanta Falcons and Detroit Lions, changed the order of the NFC's playoff picture. The Bears are one game out of the playoff hunt with three games to go and likely will have to win each of their next three games for a shot at the postseason.

That won't be easy. The Bears will visit the undefeated Green Bay Packers on Dec. 25.
