Bears' Bell earns start

The Bears will be without their top two running backs Sunday against the Green Bay Packers.

Matt Forte (knee) and Marion Barber (calf) were among seven players on the team's inactive list, which was released about an hour before kickoff at Lambeau Field. Other players on the inactive list included Jay Cutler, Nathan Enderle, Anthony Adams, Levi Horn and Andre Smith.

With Forte and Barber out of the lineup, running back Kahlil Bell will be the team's top option in the backfield. Bell ran 15 times for 65 yards and caught a 25-yard touchdown pass last week against the Seattle Seahawks.

The Packers (13-1) would clinch home-field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs with a win tonight. Meanwhile, the Bears (7-7) need a win to preserve their meager playoff hopes.
