Keys cards for the 2012 Dog Park Season (January-December 2012) are on sale now at the Crystal Lake Park District Administrative Office, 1 E. Crystal Lake Ave., Crystal Lake.

Hound Town is a 3-acre park where dogs can socialize and run off leash. An annual permit allows owners to enjoy the area specially designed for their furry friends. It is entirely fenced in and is open year-round dawn to dusk.

To buy a Hound Town key card, park users must bring proof of residency and proof of rabies vaccination from a vet or vet receipt.

The fee is $45 fee for nonresident dogs and $10 for each additional dog. The resident fee is $30 for the first dog and $6 for each additional dog. The cost is half-price for resident seniors.

For information, call the Crystal Lake Park District at 815-459-0680. The Crystal Lake Park District is open 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
