McHenry County Sheriff's sgt. faces sex assault charges
WOODSTOCK – A 10-year veteran of the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office turned himself over to State Police this weekend on 10 counts of predatory criminal sexual assault.
The arrest of Sgt. Gregory Pyle, 36, of Crystal Lake was made public Sunday in a sheriff’s department news release.
The charges against Pyle allege that he sexually abused “at least one minor” and that the minor is related to him, said Monique Bond, spokeswoman for the Illinois State Police.
