Lions' drought continues

The Detroit Lions and Atlanta Falcons finished ahead of the Bears to earn wild-card berths in the NFC playoffs, but neither team lasted long once the postseason arrived.

That means the Green Bay Packers are the lone team remaining from the NFC North as eight teams compete for a Super Bowl title. The Packers will host the Giants on Sunday at Lambeau Field, while the San Francisco 49ers will host the New Orleans Saints in the NFC's other matchup.

The Lions have not won a playoff game since the 1991 season, which is the longest drought in the NFC North. Here is a look at how each team in the division has fared recently in the playoffs.
