WHS students make All-State Choir

WOODSTOCK – Two Woodstock High School choral students made the Illinois All-State Honor Choir:Josh McKenzie, 12, bass 2 and Daniel Rausch, 11, tenor 1.

Rausch was the No. 1 rated tenor 1 in the District 7 all-state auditions. Each of the No. 1 students on their respective voice parts auditioned on the "National Anthem" to be the District's representative to the All-State auditions. Rausch was selected as the District 7 representative.

This is the third time in four years that a Woodstock High School choral student has been selected for this honor. This is also the 21st consecutive year that the WHS choral department has had at least one choral student chosen for the All-State Honors.
