CHICAGO – The White Sox announced Wednesday that for all Sunday home games this season they will wear 1972 throwback uniforms.

The uniform features red pinstripes with red numbers and Sox logo as well as the red hat. They will be worn during 13 Sunday games, the first on April 15 versus the Tigers. These uniforms were initially worn by Sox standouts Dick Allen, Terry Forster, Rich “Goose” Gossage and Bill Melton.
