Blackhawks: The week ahead

Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane might want to keep his Superman cape for the season's second half.

Kane, who delighted fans during NHL All-Star weekend by wearing a Superman costume in the skills challenge, will reunite with his Hawks teammates this week in Vancouver. The Hawks will start a grueling nine-game road trip by squaring off against the Canucks on Tuesday night.

Here is a look at the Hawks' schedule this week.

Tuesday: at Vancouver Canucks, 9 p.m.

Thursday: at Edmonton Oilers, 8:30 p.m.

Friday: at Calgary Flames, 8 p.m.

The Hawks (29-15-6, 64 points) slipped to fourth place in the Central Division after back-to-back losses against the Nashville Predators heading into the All-Star break. They will need to make up some ground by netting at least four points on the Western Canada leg of their road trip.
