Dundee Library to host Mrs. Lincoln program
EAST DUNDEE – Historian and actress Valerie Gugala returns to the Dundee Library to set the historical record straight about Mary Todd Lincoln.
Gugala will take listeners through the life of a young woman born into a wealthy Lexington, Ky., family, and the transformation she made to become the wife of a young man whose background was just the opposite.
Hear the story at “A Visit with Mrs. Lincoln” at 7 p.m. Monday at the library, 555 Barrington Ave. (Route 68) in East Dundee.
