WOODSTOCK – Two men and a woman face drug charges after police said they agreed to sell cocaine near a Johnsburg school.
On Wednesday, bond was cut in half to $50,000 for Theresa C. Stapleton, 24, of 3604 Stubby Ave., Johnsburg. She later posted the required 10 percent and was released.
According to the criminal complaint, Stapleton, as well as Issac C. Jones, 30, of 20 Buoy Bay in Lakermoor, and David W. Stodolny 41, of 2416 W. Dickens Ave. in Chicago, agreed to deliver cocaine to “unknown persons” in exchange for money while within 1,000 feet of James C. Bush Elementary School.
All three face multiple felony charges, including criminal drug conspiracy, unlawful delivery of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
Stodolny, whose bond is $120,000, remained in custody Wednesday. He also has been charged with aggravated battery to a correctional employee for allegedly punching an officer in the face.
Jones posted $10,000 on Saturday and was released.
