Sheriff's police seek tips in Lakemoor burglary

LAKEMOOR – The McHenry County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a residential burglary that occurred in the 400 block of Crestwood Avenue in Lakemoor.

The burglary occurred during the day Feb. 27, Sheriff Keith Nygren said in a news release.

Taken from the residence were a Hewlett-Packard laptop computer, antique $2 bills, a yellow gold wedding band and various baseball cards, including a Jackie Robinson baseball card and a Brooks Robinson baseball card.

Nygren requested that anyone with information regarding this crime contact the McHenry County Crime Stoppers tip line at 800-762-7867, the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office tip line at 815-338-2144 or the tip line email address,

Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the offender or offenders.
