Impressive streak ends for Bulls
Once the sting fades from Monday's loss, the Bulls will be able to reflect on a franchise record with pride.
The Bulls played 86 games without back-to-back losses in the regular season until this week, when they lost consecutive games to the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Houston Rockets. The 86-game streak marked a franchise record and was the second-longest streak in NBA history.
Here is a look at the Bulls' place in history.
1. Utah Jazz, 95 games (Nov. 22, 1997-March 19, 1999)
2. Bulls, 86 games (Feb. 9, 2011-April 1, 2012)
3. Boston Celtics, 85 games (March 27, 1984-March 31, 1985)
4. Indiana Pacers, 84 games (Dec. 12, 1997-March 16, 1999)
After a two-day break, the Bulls will host the Celtics on Thursday at the United Center.
